The most common door opening sizes are 30”, 32”, and 36”. We offer several door designs in these common door opening sizes. We also offer a larger variety of custom doors available to fit 24” to 60” wide door openings.

Our in-stock, quick ship saloon doors will fit 30”, 32”, and 36” door opening sizes. The doors are already sized to fit the opening.  

Example 1: Door opening is 32" wide. Choose 32" Doors, which are premade to fit your 32" door opening with the hardware provided.

Example 2: Door opening is 32-3/4" wide. We recommend buying the 32" doors.  Since the doors are made for a 32" opening and the opening is 32-3/4" that will leave an additional gap between the doors of 3/4".  The easiest way to avoid the larger gap between the doors is to use some shims.  Place a 3/8" shim between each hinge mount and the door frame.  Essentially this will narrow the opening 3/8" on each side, totaling 3/4".  This is a way of making the stock size work for your opening.  

Custom Doors- These are custom made for your door opening size with a wide variety of designs, materials, and heights available. Swinging Café Doors strives to keep lead time low, even during these times when custom manufacturers are extending lead time. On our custom doors, you can select material, door opening size, door height, and several hardware options. 

Example 1: Door opening is less than 30” wide. If your door opening is 29-½”, we offer custom saloon doors for your door opening size as the 30" doors won't fit this opening.

Example 2: Door opening is more than 32” but less than 36” wide. If your door opening is 34-1/2” wide, we would recommend a custom door.

Example 3: Door opening is more than 30” but less than 32” wide. If your door opening is 31-1/8” wide, we would recommend a custom door.

Example 4: Door opening is more than 36” wide. If your door opening is 52” wide, we would recommend a custom door.
