Shipping and Production Details for Swinging Cafe Doors

Small Pack Shipments: Orders for hardware and products within size limitations ship via carriers like FedEx, UPS or USPS.  The tracking # your receive will show you who is delivering the package.

Assembled Doors: Assembled doors are shipped via  FedEx, UPS, or a LTL freight carriers such as  FedEx, Estes Express or Other Freight Lines.

Crating and Inspection: Doors will be shipped in a custom-built protective cardboard boxes solely for transit protection. Upon receipt, please open the boxes immediately to confirm safe arrival. Although we take precautions, occasionally damage may occur during transit. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect the door (all sides and specifications) and report any damage within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. All door should be removed from the box as soon as possible after delivery. 

Do not leave your door exposed to weather conditions while in the Box, even if it's finished in our facility. Move the box, bubble wrap or an additional package materials like a pallet to a protected location and remove the door promptly.

Keep all the shipping materials until you are completely satisfied with your product. If you dispose of or destroy the box, Swinging Cafe Doors is not responsible for providing a replacement if the door needs to be returned.

Delivery Information: Curbside delivery is included for orders that are not oversized. The freight company is only responsible for curbside delivery.

Some doors may be deemed oversized by the freight carrier, requiring assistance to unload. Depending on size and location, you may need to go to a freight hub for pickup. Swinging Cafe Doors is not responsible for additional costs related to the delivery or pickup of oversized crates.

If your street is difficult to navigate, be prepared to meet the truck at the closest accessible point to your curbside.

Do not schedule installation until the product has arrived, and you are satisfied. Swinging Cafe Doors is not responsible for any installation or rescheduling fees incurred by contractors.

Product Inspection and Responsibilities: Inspect your product carefully before installation. Swinging Cafe Doors is not responsible for costs associated with installation, de-installation, or any manufacturing issues.

If there's a manufacturing responsibility error, we can only arrange pickup from where the product was initially dropped off.

Delivery Arrangements and Delays: Once shipped, the freight company will contact you for delivery arrangements. Set a delivery date promptly to avoid extra charges and storage fees. You are responsible for any additional freight charges due to delays once notified by the freight company.

Production Times: Estimated build times are available on each product page, but these are estimates, not guarantees. Raw materials and supply chain issues may impact actual manufacturing timelines. No cash refunds are provided for late orders.

Shipping Address: Only Hardware | Hinges can be delivered to PO Boxes, no doors. Ensure a physical address is provided for delivery. If you need to change the address, contact us before shipping. Address changes post-shipment may incur a "reroute fee" and extend the shipping time.

International Shipping: For international shipments, we do not assume responsibility for freight, duties, or taxes outside the US. We offer free shipping for swinging doors, hardware, and door accessories within the continental US. Once delivered to the freight forwarder, all costs become the buyer's responsibility. Inspect the product carefully upon receipt by the freight forwarder as we cannot be responsible for international freight costs or returns.
