Full Size Café Doors with Double Action Hardware

Are you looking for full length café doors to fill nearly your entire opening? We have the answer. The best hinge to allow for maximize door height and width is the Bommer 7800 series. There are several variations of this hinge. Allow us to explain the hinges so we can determine the best hinge for your application.

There will still be small gaps using these hinges, but these are the smallest gaps possible with double action hinges and full height doors.

These hinges can be used for single swinging doors as well as double swinging doors. Max door width is 36”. Gaps will be 1⁄4” on the mounting side (between the door jamb and door). Gaps in the height vary based on whether you choose a jamb mount or floor mount hinge. The floor mount as it sounds will have the bottom hinge mounted directly to the floor.

The jamb mount will have the bottom hinge mounted directly to the door jamb. The floor mount is going to have a smaller gap of 9/16” off the floor; jamb mount gap off the floor is 11/16”. Gap between the door(s) and header is 1⁄4” (if you recess the top pivot). Designed gap between double doors is 1⁄4”. All gaps have a tolerance of +/- 1/8”.

All hinges have a 36” maximum door width and 90 lb door rating.
